CHRIS MATONTI
Chris Matonti is Founder and Producer of the NEW-GEN Franchise. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Matonti is responsible for oversight of the company’s budget, strategic business development and spearheads the capital raise of A.P.N.G. Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Matonti is a 25+ year veteran in the entertainment industry, drawing from a multifaceted background as producer, producer’s representative, and distribution executive. Chris’ 360-degree approach and implementation to content creation and distribution maximizes the NEW-GEN Franchise for a global marketplace.

Mr. Matonti began his entertainment career as a music supervisor on the film LETHAL JUSTICE and joined his brother and producing partner. Chris produced LOOSE WOMEN (Charlie Sheen, Tom Verica, and Giancarlo Esposito) and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of filmmaking and production including raising the necessary financing for the film and contract negotiations. He produced a 21 song soundtrack, which included such musicians as Mark Bryan from Hootie and the Blowfish, Luscious Jackson, and Corey Glover. In addition, Mr. Matonti executive produced MY X-GIRLFRIEND’S WEDDING RECEPTION (Deborah Gibson, Dom DeLuise); BOBBY G. CAN’T SWIM, LIVING THE DREAM (Sean Young, Danny Trejo, Jeff Conaway), THE HIKING TRIP (Kortney Adams) and produced the critically acclaimed MONEY DRIVEN MEDICINE about America’s complicated and dysfunctional healthcare system with Oscar winner Alex Gibney.

As a producer’s representative, Mr. Matonti helped filmmakers realize distribution for such films as the crime drama, THIS THING OF OURS (Vincent Pastore, Frank Vincent, James Caan); the supernatural horror film, CULT (Taryn Manning, Rachel Miner), and INSIDE starring Nicholas D’Agosto (HEROES) and Leighton Meester (GOSSIP GIRL) which helped establish her rising career.
