WILLIAM COX III
William Cox III is CEO and Founding Partner of Soaring Partners, LLLP. For more than twenty years, he made investments in venture capital and private equity, with a focus in media and technology. From 1989 to 2009, he was a Founding Partner of Harding Loevner, LLC, a family of mutual funds targeting emerging markets.

Prior to founding Soaring Partners, LLLP, he worked in Dublin, Ireland as head of Business Development for Baxter Financial Services and Currency Dealing. From 2002 to 2004, he directed the Small Cap Equities – Young Enterprises Shares Fund for Princeton Capital Management. From 1979 to 1997, Mr. Cox held a variety of positions at Dow Jones & Co. Initially, his areas of expertise included advertising, marketing, and research for The Wall Street and Barron’s magazine. He then headed Business Development for the Dow Jones Newswires. As a member of the Steering Committee and as Managing Director, he founded the Dow Jones Indexes.
William received a BS in Business Administration at Boston University in 1978 and Certificates from the New York University School of Information Technologies and the Executive Program of the NYU Stern School of Direct Marketing.
